The View from Coral Cove by Amy Clipston

I really enjoy reading anything by this author whether it be contemporary fiction or Amish fiction.   This story takes us to the town of Coral Cove where Maya goes to take over running her great aunt Cece's toy store.  The fun begins when a little kitten comes in to the store followed by little Ashlyn and her father, Brody, the local vet.  This was such a fun story for me that I finished the book within 24 hours!  There was one part in the story where Maya was given something and the tears just flowed for me, which doesn't happen often from a book! I received a complimentary copy of this book. O pinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

The Child I Never Had by Kate Hewitt

This is an incredible story about the hope and heartbreak of open adoption told from the viewpoint of child, biological mom and adoptive mom.  The story was told in the present and in the past.  For me, the story captivated the emotions of adoption and sometimes the secrets that are kept. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.
