Dark Intercept by Brian Andrews and Jeffrey Wilson The Shepherds #1

4 stars This is the first time that I have read anything by these authors, wow, what a suspenseful ride this one was! I wanted to turn the pages as fast as I could to get to the end to find out how everything was connected. I am not a big reader of fantasy but the suspense was incredible! I will be thinking about this book for quite some time. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc. The opinions are my own. This book is published by Tyndale House and will be available on September 7, 2021.  You can order it on amazon here:   Dark Intercept (The Shepherds Series Book 1) - Kindle edition by Andrews, Brian, Wilson, Jeffrey. Love's Dwelling by Kelly Irvin Amish Blessings #1

4 stars This book was a quick and easy book to read. I enjoyed that the premise to the story was different from many that I read. I particularly enjoyed the character of Cassie. She is a young lady who is working for the Keim family when their 5 grandchildren move in. Cassie also moves in to help with all of the added responsibilities. She works hard for the family and loves deeply. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc. The opinions are my own. This book is published by Zondervan and will be released on July 6, 2021.  You can find it on Amazon here:   Love's Dwelling (Amish Blessings Book 1) - Kindle edition by Irvin, Kelly. Under the Magnolias by T.I. Lowe

5 stars!! Usually I do not post reviews unless it is a book that I have read through netgalley but I can not be silent on this one! :) The authors ability to tell a story continues to amaze me. Her ability to weave the details in such a way puts a smile on my face. T.I. Lowe is able to put all of the pieces together in such a way that makes the story such an intricate tapestry. The story of the Foster family is one that everyone should read about and is not unique. Each family has something that they may want to keep hidden but as Christians it is so much better to share our story so that others come carry some of that burden. The lessons that I learned Under the Magnolias will stick with me for quite some time! This book is being published by Tyndale House and will release on May 4, 2021 and can be found on Amazon here:   Amazon.com: Under the Magnolias (9781496453617): Lowe, T.I.: Books

Never Miss by Melissa Koplin

5 stars The SUSPENSE! This book had me turning the pages as quickly AA I could to find out what would happen in the end. It had just the right amount of suspense, relationships and family dynamics in it to make it a great read. At first I thought the cat, Mac, was quirky but by the end I found it quite endearing. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc. The opinions are my own.

The One You're With by Lauren K. Denton

5 stars What a great book this was!   I loved how the author wove the story together including in the past and in the present day.  I couldn't wait until the end when I could see how the "quilt" came together. I loved how the choices that we make in life were displayed in the book.  It made me fall in love with the characters and root for them. Girls of Summer C.E. Hilbert

4 stars Available now! Another new author for me! The book is set in South Carolina is filled with blended family secrets, murder and suspense! Charlotte and Georgians are half sisters of a wealthy businessman who owns the local baseball team. The quirky detail of his will is that the girls need to work and live together for a year after his death in order to receive their inheritance. But can they do this when the bodies start accumulating all around them? It appears that anyone Charlotte loves could be a target. I particularly enjoyed the character of Mac Taylor. He is the lawyer for the dad and looks out for the girls. This book will take you on a whirlwind of adventure and suspense! Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc. The opinions are my own.

Blackberry Beach by Irene Hannon

4 stars Publication date of April 6, 2021 This book is set in Hope harbor, Oregon. Zach is the owner of The Perfect Blend coffee house. He is intrigued when a female customer comes in who is very evasive. As Kat begins to share more of her story with Zach, she begins to trust him as a friend. This was a sweet story of forgiveness and making difficult career choices. My favorite character was Charley who owned the fish taco stand. He was a wise friend in his many conversations. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc. The opinions are my own.

Present Danger by Elizabeth Goddard

3 Stars Publication date of April 6, 2021 This book had me guessing until the very end on who was involved in the murders! I really enjoyed this aspect of the book, that kept me in suspense until the very end. I became a little tangled up near the end about how everything fit together, there was a little bit too much there for me. I enjoyed the characters of Terra and Jack. There was a lot of history between these two and lots of emotions involved. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc. The opinions are my own.
