The Summerville Sisters by Heather Dixon

I took a chance on this book and really enjoyed it.  There was an interesting story line that kept the book moving.  I wasn't sure which characters to like but I found Greg to be stable and loving.  At times I was a little tired of Claire but understood that she was going through a lot  Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

To The Wild Horizon by Imogen Martin

I enjoyed going west with these people and the adventures and challenges that met them along the way.  I found it so encouraging to see women who were able to stand up for themselves and take care of themselves.  There were a couple of places where I skipped a few pages because I didn't need all of the details.  I enjoyed the characters of Grace, Tom, Randolph, Eunice and Turner. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own

Dangerous Texas Hideout by Virginia Vaughan

I'm so glad that I took a chance on reading these Love Inspired books because I have enjoyed each one.  This book has just the right amount of mystery, suspense and romance to keep me turning the pages.  I really enjoyed the characters Caleb, Missy, Penny, Luke and Hannah. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Miss Morgan's Book Brigade by Janet Skeslien Charles

This was a fascinating story about the CARDS during WWI.  I had never heard of Jessie Carson and can't wait to learn more about her.  I enjoyed the dual timeline of 1918 and more present day.  Another thing I enjoyed about Kit is that she had her "minds library".  There were so many characters that I enjoyed in this story! Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

The Surface of Water by Cynthia Beach

The story was interesting to think about.  It gave me an insight into the lives of what it may be like to be a pastor at a megachurch.  It was intriguing to think about the disparity between the church and those living so close to the church.   Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the ARC.   The opinions are my own

The Perfect Nanny by Shari J. Ryan

This book took psychological suspense to a whole new level. This book was intense! About three quarters of the way through the book, I felt like I was in the midst of a corn maze and everywhere I turned there was a new absurd and crazy aspect to the story. I just wanted to get out of the maze and be done with the book. I'm sure lots of people would enjoy this book but it was just too much for me.    Thanks so much to that netgalley and the publisher for the ARC.  The opinions are my own

Sunrise Over Strawberry Hill Farm by Allison Sherlock

I want to visit Strawberry Hill Farm!   The story made me want to hop on a plane and meet Nico, Grams and Flora.   It was a very sweet story!   Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Forgotten Secret by S.F. Baumgartner

This book has me turning the pages but not wanting the story to end. I definitely recommend reading the first book as there are so many characters and so much to remember.  I loved getting reacquainted with Dylan, Olivia, Simon, Lily and Ron.  I can't wait for the next book.   Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own

Silent Girl by M.L. Rose

This book has lots of twists and turns and left the reader guessing on what the ending would look like.  There were a lot of characters in the book which took some time to iron out.  I could have done less with the horrific images at points in the story  Thanks so much to netgalley and Storm Publishing for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

What I Promise You by Liz Tolsma

This story was so moving for me.  The author does a great job of portraying the grief and atrocities that took place during WWII without going into graphic detail.    The novel added a new dimension that I haven't read before with three different timelines.  This added a new layer to the story and kept me guessing until the end.   There were so many characters that I enjoyed in the story:  Caitlyn, Aiden, Salome, Aime, Helene and so many more. Thanks so much to netgalley and Barbour Publishing for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

The Proposal Plot by Kathleen Fuller

I really enjoy reading books by this author.  The characters and the plot are always enjoyable.  Sometimes the reader can figure out what might happen at the end but it is still fun to see how the story progresses.  Barnabas, Wendy, Ella and Nelson were my favorite characters. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Undercover Christmas Escape by Terri Reed

Full of suspense, drama and a little bit of romance.  I enjoyed the story of Sera and Duncan and enjoyed getting to know Angie and Grace.  There was lots of action to keep me glued to the edge of my seat. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Capturing Hope by Angela Couch

The stories set in the midst of WWII are often times filled with such despair but they highlight people who have risen above the challenges that they faced.  This story had exemplary characters who faced the challenges of war head on.  Nadia and David changed so much throughout the story but their resilience was inspiring.  Bieta, Arek and Krys were really sweet additions in the story as well. Thanks so much to netgalley and Barbour Publishing for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Undercover Baby Rescue by Maggie K. Black

What a great story!  I loved all of the twists and turns.  The story definitely kept me in suspense until the end.  I loved too how Justin and Violet worked so well together despite past circumstances.  This was the first time I read this author but will definitely look for more of her books.    Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

After the Sleepover by Kerry Wilkinson

This book has so much mystery and suspense that it kept me turning the pages.  As I read, I thought I had the mystery figured out and then I would read on and I was wrong :).   Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

The Quilt Room Secret by Lisa Jones Baker

Unfortunately I couldn't get into this book.  I read half of it and I was forcing myself to continue.   It was sweet how Jacob cared for his reunited friend, Trini.  The premise of the story of having close friends and being able to talk together in your shop was interesting but the story lacked something for me. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own

The British Booksellers by Kristy Cambron

It took me a little bit of time to get into this story.  Dual timelines can be hard to keep going back and forth between. Once I was invested in the story I really enjoyed it.   I enjoyed how the author slowly gave bits of the story along the way and it kept me guessing until the end. My favorite characters in the story were Charlotte and Eden.  Their strength and resolve during these very difficult times was inspiring. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Love Unscripted by Denise Hunter

I loved seeing behind the scenes of a movie being made from a book.  I liked how Chloe was so invested in her book that she wanted to make sure that the actors actually portrayed the role of the characters well.   It was so interesting that both of the main characters had things that they were working through from their own pasts and preconceived notions about each other.   Liam and Chloe were both very relatable characters. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Fatal Witness by Patricia Bradley

This book was so good, I didn't want to put it down!  I thought I knew who was the mastermind to all of the drama but definitely was guessing until the end.   I had a lot of favorite characters in this story:  Gem, Dani, Mark and Nonny to name just a few.    Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

The Wishing Bridge by Viola Shipman

My favorite thing about this author is that through his story telling he paints such a beautiful picture for the reader.  The stories are filled with lots of close family ties and usually food is talked about a lot ;) I loved the special traditions that The Wegner's had for the Christmas season.  The love that they have for their company and those around them was amazing.  I enjoyed reading in the present and then slipping back into the past to see how circumstances had changed the characters.  Sophie, Shep and Mable were my favorite characters. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

When the Waters Came by Candice Sue Patterson

This was such an enthralling story about the flooding of Johnstown. I had never heard of this tragedy and the awful circumstances behind it.  I loved the way the author weaved in the story of Clara Barton and the Red Cross.  Monty and Annamae were such fascinating characters and I enjoyed how they wrestled with their own past throughout the story. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.
