The Story of Love by Beth Wiseman

It was so good to be back in Montgomery, Indiana and be reacquainted with some of the characters from previous stories.  I love too that it is set in a book store.  The characters of Yvonne and Abraham are so interesting and the book not only includes romance but also mystery. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the ARC.  The opinions are my own.

Authentically Izzy by Pepper Basham

This was one of my favorite books that I have read recently.  It was super unique in the way the story was told but had me captivated throughout the story.  So captivated, in fact, that I reached out to the author via facebook and begged her to publish more of the characters stories :)   The story of Brodie and Lizzy was enchanting and amazing!  I can't say enough good things about this book and can't wait to read about more of the characters featured in this story! Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the ARC, the opinions are my own.

Barking Up the Wrong Tree by Janice Thompson

This is the 3rd book in the series and is just a fun read.  There is a little bit of mystery and romance in each book.  This book follows Dr. Kristin who is a vet and we get to follow along with characters that we have grown to love--Mari, Grandma Peach, Parker and of course all of their furry friends! I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.

What We Found in Hallelujah by Vanessa Miller

This book is filled with secrets as the Reynolds women keep most things to themselves.  As everything begins to unravel, more secrets are revealed.  The characters show a fierce loyalty to each other despite the storms and the secrets that come their way.  I really enjoyed my time in Hallelujah and I'm sure you will too! Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the ARC.  The opinions are my own.

Critical Threat by Lynette Eason (Extreme Measures #3)

Read this book but be prepared to do nothing until you finish it because once you start it, you won't want to put it down!  The characters in the story just keep taking so many hard times but it is so interesting to read how it all comes together and who is behind the murders!  Grace and Sam were phenomenal characters in the story! Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Hello Stranger by Katherine Center

This is one of my most favorite contemporary authors.  This book was no exception!  The character Sadie had so much going against her and just kept plowing along with love of her beloved dog, Peanut!  I will think about this book for quite some time.   Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

The Bookshop of Secrets by Mollie Rushmeyer

This book grabbed me from the beginning especially the fact that Hope had been in the foster care system as a child.  I wanted to cheer for her to have connections with people and those who would love her for who she is.  The added bonus of her loving books was icing on the cake.  I loved the characters of Ronan, Ulysses and Mags.  This was a great read and a definite page turner! Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

On My Honor by Patty Smith Hall

This is my first time reading anything by this author but it was part of Heroines of WWII series and I have really enjoyed these books.   There are so many things that I did not realize about the war that took place here in America.  The use of the Girl Scout troop to provide extra support during the war was fascinating to read about.   I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.

Famous for a Living by Melissa Ferguson

This was a fun book to read!  I enjoyed reading Cat's story and it gave me a lot to think about in terms of my time on social media.  My favorite character by far was Zaiah, such a rugged guy but a compassionate one as well!   Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

What Happens Next by Christina Suzann Nelson

I am a big fan of anything by this author.  I find that she has such an interesting way of telling her stories.  This book did not disappoint as it follows the story of Heather who was kidnapped as a 10 year old.  The story of Heather was told in the past and in the present it is in the voice of her friend, Faith, and her mom, Dora.  I really got behind the characters of Paul and Dora and how much the disappearance of their daughter affected their lives.   Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own!
