  5 stars Get a sneak peek in to the lives of the Graham Family as told by Billy's daughter and grand daughter.  This book gave me a lot of things to think about in my life.  It convicted me personally about sharing the Gospel more readily with those that I come in contact with.  I liked how they used the alphabet to praise  Jesus (chapter 12).  I also liked the quote from Chapter 8 that says, "The Bible is your one sure guide in an unsure world".  Another quote from chapter 6 that I liked was "make the least of all that goes and the most of all that comes".   Thanks so much to the publisher and netgalley for the arc.  The opinions are my own!

I know that the title of this book was about the impossible kid and that was highlighted a little bit throughout the book but I think that most of the book talks about marriage and parenting from a Christian perspective.   I enjoyed how the author honestly told about the struggles that she experienced as a mom and some of the less flattering things that she did. I also enjoyed how the author concluded each chapter with a section written by her daughter, Monica, who was "the impossible kid".   Again, I learned a lot about marriage and parenting from this book and for that, I am grateful! I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.

 5 stars This book takes a vignette from a Bible story and brings an application to our lives today (disappointment, bitterness, etc).  The chapter with the application ends with a prayer and journal prompt.   One takeaway that I enjoyed from this book is that I often remember the heroes of faith for their walk with God but do not always remember that they were also told no by God.  I think of Moses and his walk with God and then he was told that he could not entered the Promised Land.   A verse that I always enjoy in Scripture is "My power is made complete in weakness".  The author reminded me that everyone always wants the miracle but they often do not want the crisis that precedes it. This book gave me many things to think about and I really enjoyed it.
