Meet Cute Reboot by Erin Lucy

I loved the description of the book and found it to be unique.  There were aspects of the story that were just too much for me.  I wanted to like Luke and Cassie but they both fell a little flat for me.  Luke's cheating and manipulating was talked about a lot throughout the book. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

It's All Relative by Rachel Magee

I was a little hesitant to read this after reading about Shakespeare in the description but I'm so glad I read it.  The story was easy to follow along with and the characters were really enjoyable.  I particularly enjoyed Gage and Emory.  There were lots of lessons learned about family and how important they are to everyone.  I wish I could keep reading more about them Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own

Hidden in the Night by Elizabeth Goddard

This book took me back to the amazing state of Alaska and the harrowing journey of Nolan and Ivy.  The mystery and suspense were on every page and kept me guessing until the end on how all of the pieces fit together. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.   The opinions are my own.

Between the Sound and the Sea by Amanda Cox

I love a second chance story and there were so many characters in this story that were given a second chance.  I usually shy away from books that talk about ghosts and the like but thankfully there wasn't too much of that.  Walt, Joey and Peter were my favorite characters.  Walt reminded me of a grandpa and I just wanted to sit around and listen to his stories.    Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Until Our Time Comes by Nicole Miller

WWII books are often hard to read due to the atrocities that took place.  I'm more interested in the characters than the horses but it was a very interesting story line.  Adia cares very much about the horses but also has a tender spot for the children that come her way.  It felt like the characters took a ton of risks that made me as a reader anxious for them.  Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc. The opinions are my own.

Tangled Secrets by S.F. Baumgartner

These books are so addicting--I don't want to do anything else except for finishing the book!   The suspense and anticipation was awesome.  Getting reacquainted with all of the characters--Olivia, Dylan, Lilly, Ron, Grace, etc. were all great.   Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

The Hidden Book by Kirsty Manning

Dnf read a quarter of the book and the story did not grab me. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Matters of the Heart by Kelly Irvin

It was so good to be back with these characters.  Bethel and Declan felt like family by the end of the story and the reader wants to cheer them on through their highs and lows.  The kids in these books are so sweet and you can feel the joy that radiates from them.   Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

The Summer of Yes by Courtney Walsh

I devoured this book but yet I didn't want it to end!  The story and the writing pulled me in from the beginning.  I loved the quirkiness in the story as well. Dylan, Hayden, Georgina, JP and Kelsey were such great characters. I'm definitely sad reading the last lines of their story! Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own

A Taste for Crime by Ellery Adams

I've never read anything by these authors but this was a fun book to read.  I always enjoy when authors include recipes at the end.  I love how the Bible study works to solve crimes.  The dynamic between the group members was intriguing.   I also appreciate stories where characters are given a second chance despite their past. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc. The opinions are my own

Why the Mountains Stand by Ashlyn McKayla Ohm

I loved being back in the lives of Avery, Addyson and Darius.  Addyson becomes a coach in this book for Darius' cousin, Kenzie.  There is a lot of depth in these stories as the characters struggle with difficult situations.  I enjoy reading about overcoming the challenges and the friends that the characters make along the way. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Mary's Calico Hope by Anne Blackburn

I loved that Mary has such a great attitude despite the difficulties that she's experienced.  Reuben is such a patient doctor and is so selfless.   I always enjoy a story where it appears that there is no way that the characters can be together and the progression along the way.  It was so fun to "see" Lydia again, she is such a great character.   Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Love on a Whim by Suzanne Woods Fisher

It was so good to be back at the Cape Cod Creamery and be reacquainted with Marnie, Dawn, Callie, Lincoln and Leo!   Lincoln and Leo are characters that I would love to meet.   They are so relatable.  It was great to learn more about Brynn and the mystery behind the story.   Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

What We Hide by Colleen Coble and Rick Acker

What a story!  I can't wait to read the next book in the series to see what happens next.  I enjoyed how Hez tries to rise above the past and keep moving forward.  His sleuthing skills are impressive.  I liked how Savannah kept searching for answers and was willing to give people a second chance.   Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

The Song of Sourwood Mountain by Ann H. Gabhart

This book took off a little slow for me but once we got to the mountain, I devoured it.  I always enjoy reading about the people that live in the mountains and the way that they live.    There were so many enjoyable characters in the book but in this one, I think the kids were the best ones.  Ada June, Joseph and Selinda were so sweet and had lived through such trying times.  I loved how Gordon worked so hard to serve those around him.  I think everyone needs a dog like Bo :) Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Finding You by Amy Clipston

Such a powerful story!   The story has such a personal touch to it as the author is able to weave her own experiences with organ donation into the story.  I could feel the depth of the emotions throughout the story! The characters of Carter, Darcy, Gage, Shauna, Haven and Derek were so memorable.  I loved how Carter and Darcy each had their own person who supported them so well.  Both of the main characters struggle with their own past and how to move on.   Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Unforgiven by Shelley Shepard Gray

This is a powerful book about the choices we make and the consequences that come.  I really enjoyed a lot of the characters in this book especially Seth and Tabitha.  They both have been through so much in life but continue to press on.  I am looking forward to the next book in the series. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

The Road Before Us by Janine Rosche

What a great story!  There were a lot of deep issues talked about in this story but the author did a great job portraying it thoughtfully and not overdoing it.  It made me want to jump on Route 66 to discover all of the stories that it holds.  I loved the characters of Bridger, Benny and Jade.  Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

The Home Front Girls by Savanna Bavin

I read 10% of the book and the plot and characters were not catching my interest.  Unfortunately the story was not compelling enough to want to continue reading. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Shielding the Innocent Target by Terri Reed

These books take the reader on such a heart pounding journey!   I wanted to read as fast as I could to get to the end to find out what happened!  It was so good to read about some familiar faces and get acquainted with Paige, Aslan, Kenny and Lucas.   I loved how strong Paige was and how selfless Lucas was. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Sandcastle Inn by Irene Hannon

It was great to be back in Hope Harbor once again.  The taco truck owner Charley continues to be a beloved character as he dispenses food and wisdom.   Matt, Vienna, Paige and Andrew were all endearing characters as well.  I loved how Paige and Andrew supported each other through the highs and lows of life.  Matt was a wonderful brother and support to his sister.  I loved how Vienna worked so hard in whatever she did. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Charming the Grumpy Cowboy by Ciara Knight

I really enjoyed this book!  Alina was such a  great character as she sought to rise above the challenges in her life.  Her ability to move on was remarkable!  The Clayborne cousins were such a great group--they sounded like men you wanted in your corner.  Colton was definitely grumpy but the reader could see how he carried so much of the weight of the family! Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

When Hope Sank by Denise Weimer

These historical fiction stories are fascinating to me.   I always knew of the more famous ships sinking but had never heard of the Sultana.  The story of Cade and Lilly was full of intrigue.  The characters cared deeply for their family members and their friends.  They were often in difficult situations but tried to follow God's will.  The suspense was exciting to read about as the reader sought to figure out how the ship sank.   Thanks so much to Barbour Publishing and netgalley for the arc.  The opinions are my own.
