Tangled Secrets by S.F. Baumgartner

These books are so addicting--I don't want to do anything else except for finishing the book!   The suspense and anticipation was awesome.  Getting reacquainted with all of the characters--Olivia, Dylan, Lilly, Ron, Grace, etc. were all great.

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Deadly Christmas Trap by Lynette Eason

I listened to this as an audiobook.  I really enjoyed how the narrator brought the story to life.  She had the ability to provide different voices for the characters.  The narrator also had the ability to bring the suspense to her voice! The story grabbed me from the beginning as Cheyenne tries to avoid those who are after her.  She is cunning and so intelligent in her cyber life.  It brought a unique aspect to a Love Inspired Suspense story.  Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the audiobook.  The opinions are my own.

South of Somewhere by T.I. Lowe

Kroosreadsandreviews: South of Somewhere chronicles Junie's life as she leaves rehab. The story will pull you in as the author weaves the emotional highs and lows.   I love that Junie has a group that surrounds her and supports her. My favorites were Gilbert and Henry. I saw Gilbert as a kindly grandpa but also one that could give a kick in the pants if you got out of line. Henry was just super sweet and quiet and compassionate.   While the topic could be overwhelming, the author is able to present it in such a way that you can understand a little more about addiction and recovery.   A highlight was visiting the town of Somewhere that was from a previous book! The characters and the story will stay with me for quite some time.   Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc. The opinions are my own. Uneasy Street by Becky Wade

Kroosreadsandreviews thoughts:    This is the conclusion to the Sons of Scandal trilogy and focuses on Max.   The half siblings of Jeremiah and Jude were featured on the first two books and it is highly recommended to read those first. Ivy was my favorite character in the book.  She is a teenage girl who was adopted as an infant and is well loved and  adapts well to the challenges thrown at her.  She stays with her aunt Sloane for the summer and they end up living at The Gables mansion with Sloane's enemy, Max.   Max does everything in the beginning to irritate Sloane and as the book unfolds the reader can begin to see the relationship possibilities change from frenemies to maybe more?   There are a lot of different storylines and characters interwoven throughout the book.  The biggest one was whether forgiveness was possible even despite serious offenses in the past.   Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for...
