Dark of Night by Colleen Coble Annie Pederson #2

This author never fails to keep the reader's attention.  She had me turning the pages as fast as I could in order to find out what would happen in the story.  I loved continuing to follow the story of Jon and Annie and the possibility of Annie's sister being back in the picture.  I can't wait to read the next book in the series.   I received a complimentary copy of this book. O pinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Critical Alliance by Elizabeth Goddard

This is the 3rd book in the Rocky Mountain Courage series.   Alex and MacKenzie are on the hunt to stop a cybercriminal before it destroys the company that her dad built. I did not know who the cybercriminal was until close to the end of the story--I just kept guessing but had no idea.  This is the sign of a great suspense novel, it kept me turning the pages! Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Concrete Evidence by Diann Mills

This book also marks my 200th review through Netgalley!  I am so thankful for the chance to read and review books.  It has been such a privilige!! You should wait to read this story until you can read it from cover to cover and all of your food and drinks are nearby :)  Notify your friends and family that you can not be disturbed, that is how good this book is--you won't want to do anything else until you can figure out how the story ends. I loved the strength of the main characters and the supporting characters were great as well  I will be thinking about this book for quite a while. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  the opinions are my own.

A Daughter's Courage by Misty Beiler (Brides of Laurent #3)

This is a new to me author but I look forward to reading more of her books!! Two solo travelers come together in a fight against the elements--snow, ice, wind, mountains, bears and wolves!  Will they be able to trust each other and heal from the hurt in their lives? I loved the adventure and suspense that took place in this book.  Charlotte's father also gave such words of wisdom. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Malicious Intent by Lynn Blackburn (Defend and Protect #2)

This book made me want to forego all of my adult responsibilities and tear through the pages of this book!  I loved the characters of Ivy and Gil.  Ivy has so much strength amidst so much difficulty in her personal world.  I also really enjoy the way the author portrays the strong relationship of the core group of characters!  I can't wait until book three comes out! Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.   Unknown Threat book 1 review can be found here:    https://kroosreadsandreviews.blogspot.com/2021/03/unknown-threat-by-lynn-h-blackburn.html

Deadly Target by Elizabeth Goddard Rocky Mountain #2

5 stars Gosh--this book kept me up at night riveted to the story.  I can not wait for the next book.  This book was the perfect book after a couple of books that were not my style.   The characters of Erin and Nathan were amazing.  I almost felt bad for them by the end of the story with all of the awful things that were happening around them.   Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

My goodness!  This book had me turning the pages as fast as I could to see what would happen next.  This is definitely a must read if you enjoy a suspenseful novel.  The characters of Hunter and Delaney were just awesome as well as Pastor James.   I received a complimentary copy of this book. Trace of Doubt by Diann Mills

4 stars This was a tantalizing suspense novel that kept me turning the pages as fast as I could.  I have never read anything by this author before and will definitely keep her on my reading radar.  There were definitely characters in this book that I really enjoyed and there were some in here that I despised!  If you enjoy reading suspense novels, check it out! Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Unknown Threat by Lynn H. Blackburn

5 stars!  Available for purchase now! Another new author for me!  This book had me anxiously turning the pages to find out who the murderer was! The story is set in Raleigh, North Carolina.  Luke is a secret service agent that is being targeted and his coworkers/friends are being murdered.  Faith is an FBI agent who has been assigned the case.  There are so many different puzzle pieces to this suspense and I was surprised at the ending.  I can't wait to read the next book in the series. I particularly enjoyed the character of Luke.  He really cared about the people that were around him.  Faith was a go getter and was a little afraid to get close to people but cared deeply about those that she loved. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own!
