A Bible Study Journal for Women by Barbour Publishing

5 stars This book is absolutely GORGEOUS!  The cover and the pages are just so exquisite!  It feels like this book can be a keepsake and something that I treasure long after it is filled up. Digging deeper in to the Bible is something that has been on my heart lately and this book/journal will help me to do that.  The first five chapters talk about different ways to study the Bible and then different tools that can be used.  The rest of the book is used for documenting the topic that you have studied and how it applies to your life or what you have learned from it.   I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review. The book can be purchased at Amazon ( A Bible Study Journal for Women: Featuring Insights from the Bestselling How to Study the Bible: Compiled by Barbour Staff: 9781643529004: Amazon.com: Books )  or your favorite retailer.

The Chase by Lisa Harris US Marshals #2

5 stars           I did not read the first book in this series but I was captivated by this book from the beginning.  The friendship between Madison and Jonas was so sweet and I really enjoyed how well they worked together.  The mystery behind the events of the book had me turning the pages as fast as I could.  I can not wait to read the next book to see how it all comes together. Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Bridge of Gold Door to the Past Series by Kimberly Woodhouse

5 stars!! This is a new to me author and I really enjoyed this book!  It is part of the Doors to the Past Series where readers are taken on a journey of historical fiction.  This book is a dual story which is always a little harder for me to follow but it makes the story more interesting.  I learned so much more about the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge and about the diving that took place to construct it.  I particularly enjoyed the story line from Luke and Kayla's perspectives and the struggles that they went through as divers.   I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.

Matched and Married Amish Mail Order Bride #2 by Kathleen Fuller

5 stars      I love that this continues the story of so many different Amish "friends" that I have read about in previous books by the author.  I really enjoyed the characters of Owen and Margaret and enjoyed how their friendship flourished as they foraged for herbs and food in the forest.  I can't wait to read the next book in the series to see what happens to the characters.  Birch Creek seems like such a lovely place and Freemont and Mary are such wonderful characters as well. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.
