The Road Before Us by Janine Rosche

 What a great story!  There were a lot of deep issues talked about in this story but the author did a great job portraying it thoughtfully and not overdoing it.  It made me want to jump on Route 66 to discover all of the stories that it holds.  I loved the characters of Bridger, Benny and Jade.
