The Wish Book Christmas by Lynn Austin

This was such a fun book!  It was so cool to see what Eve and Audrey (the main characters from If I Were You) were doing.  I have so many great memories looking through the wish book catalog and that was fun to do that with the boys, Bobby and Harry.


I particularly enjoyed how the author used something that was fueled by greed and turned the boys in to Wise Men who realized the greatest gift at Christmas was to give things away.  The boys weren't the only ones to learn lessons through this experiment and that was pretty cool too!

No Romancing the Passengers by Lee Wimmer

 I enjoyed the mystery and suspense in this book.  I also enjoyed the idea behind the cruise and how the passengers all enjoyed each other.   The stuff about dream walking was different for me and gave me something to think about.  There is another book after this one so everything is not tied up neatly at the end.  I enjoyed the characters Miguel, Mike and Willie.
