Lowcountry Lost by T.I. Lowe

5 stars!!!! Somewhere is the place where the reader will want to be!! From the prologue the author has the reader picturing themselves in the story. She engages the reader with her typical deep storyline with its sprinkling of humor throughout.   The idea of turning these abandoned ghost towns into viable properties is such an engaging story I love Maudie--she loves Avalee deeply but also confronts her when needed. I also want to pick up a hammer and start renovating.  I love how they keep the treasures and find ways to reuse them like the best HGTVers Love the idea of small happies The quotes throughout the book are so meaningful!  I highlighted so many of them! Thanks so much for the ARC!  The opinions are my own!

Meddling with Mistletoe by Liz Johnson

5 stars  This book was just what I needed as I have been in a bit of a slump.  The story grabbed my attention from the beginning and I couldn't stop turning the pages.  I wanted to be in The Red Door Inn and eating Whitney's fabulous pies.  I could see myself scooping up Julia Mae and her inquisitive little mind.  Such a fun book!! Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

A New Arrival at Duck Pond Cottage by Della Galton

4 stars This had a little bit of a slow start for me and then piqued my interest as the story progressed.  Finn and Ben were by far my favorite characters.  I loved how Jade worked so hard to rescue so many animals and made it her life's work. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

With All Her Heart by Kelly Irvin

4 stars Such a sweet story!   I love how the three young ladies overcome so many obstacles and run their own store.  The relationship between Elijah and Slowpoke is so sweet!!!   I thought Theo was such a fun character and one I wished to hear more about.   The authors telling of these stories with the challenges faced by the characters was insightful and memorable. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

The Lies We Leave Behind by Noelle Salazar

5 stars Such a moving story of the heroism that took place during WWII.   I enjoyed how the author had the story set in the present day but then went back to the war days.   Just when the story was getting hard to read, it would switch back to the present day.  I don't want to put any spoilers in but the characters in the story will live on in my memory for quite some time  Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

The Color of Home by Kit Tosello

4 stars This was a great book written by a debut author.  I love the setting in Oregon, it made me long to visit there again.    I enjoyed how the character's faith plays such an important role in their lives.  Throughout the book, the characters will recall a Bible verse that applies to the situation. There is a little mystery throughout the book as the author sprinkles clues throughout the story of what had happened to Paige's dad and Audrey's dad. My favorite characters were Paige and Daisy.  They definitely were brought to life throughout the pages. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

The Christmas Tree Farm by Melody Carlson

4 stars Short and sweet!  I really enjoyed the relationship between Madison and Lily.  The other family dynamics made the story interesting as well.    Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Ace, Marvel, Spy by Jenni L. Walsh

5 stars What a fascinating story!  I enjoyed cheering Alice on with her successes and mourning with her during her struggles.   She overcame so much in her life and it was so interesting to learn more about her.  I look forward to teaching my daughters about her  Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Target Acquired by Lynette Eason

3 stars  I was so excited for this book as I loved the first book and love the suspense that the author is able to write about.  I must not have been in the right place when I read this book because it didn't draw me into the suspense like usual.  I wasn't heavily invested in the characters either.    Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

With This Ring by Amy Clipston

4 stars This was a sweet story!  I really liked Aunt Trudy and how she was able to be a family for the kids.   I found Hudson to be a little too much at times.  I also enjoyed how Dakota's family was there for her. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Hope Like Wildflowers by Pepper Basham

5 stars I loved this book and the characters in it!  Basham continues to amaze me with her stories and the depth of her characters.  There were so many characters that I loved in this novel but a few of my favorites were Kizzie, Noah and Charlie.  I enjoyed the depth of faith that Kizzie has despite having a past.  So many great things to love in this story, I did not want the story to end. Thanks to netgalley and Barbour Publishing.  The opinions are my own.  The review will be posted on my blog not prior to 30 days before publication.

Little Boy Missing by Lizzie Fry

3 stars This was a twisted book.  I had a guess who was behind the disappearance and was correct.  It took a long time to get to the point where the boy goes missing.  I'm not even sure what to think about the ending!! Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  Thx opinions are my own.

When the Mountain Crumbled by Angela K. Crouch

4 stars These historical fiction books are fascinating to me as another piece of history is now brought to life in a story.   I never knew about the Frank slide and the devastation that it caused.  I found that I enjoyed Mary, Abby and Lucy the most as characters.  My favorite part of the book was that Nathan kept a list of all of the miracles that he saw. Thanks to netgalley and Barbour Publishing for the arc.  The opinions are my own.  In accordance with the publisher, this book will be posted on my blog and netgalley not more than 30 days prior to publication day.

Texas Revenge Target by Jill Elizabeth Nelson

5 stars Another home run for the Love Inspired series!!   The amount of suspense and mystery keeps the reader on edge and wondering what is going to happen next.  I loved the dynamics between Bree and Cam.  I also enjoyed the multiple layers to Cam's story! Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Christmas in Chestnut Ridge by Nancy Naigle

5 stars Chestnut Ridge is where I would love to visit.   It is such an idyllic town with such great people and annual traditions.   I could picture myself walking through the Christmas Stroll and enjoying the hot chocolate.  I loved how the community came together to help those going through hard times.   Such a fun read! Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Here One Moment by Liane Moriarty

4 stars The concept of this story was interesting but there are so many characters in the novel and it bounces around a lot.  I have to be in a certain mood to read books like this.  It made me think about how I would be affected if I knew the day of my death.  For me, the story went on a little bit too long and the end was underwhelming. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.
