Reverie by Drew Taylor

I've never read a story like this before.  It was written as a story within a story.  This at times was a little confusing for me. I really enjoyed the main characters Esme and Noah.   Noah is super flirty and romantic!  Esme has been through the ringer of life but is going forward with such strength.   There were some loose ends that should be remedied in later series.   Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

The Stolen Life of Colette Marceau by Kristin Harmel

The author never fails to pen a tale that weaves gracefully between the present day and the past.   The Marceau family continues in the family legacy of Robin Hood as we enter into Paris in WWII.  Annabelle steals in order to fund the resistance movement and to protect the lives of the Jews.  Collette completes her thievery in the present day in America to fund noble causes.   All of the characters in the story center around the jewelery and how their choices affect the rest of their lives.   Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

Unshaken by Shelley Shepard Gray

This book took me on such an adventure as Stephanie goes into "witness protection" after being a witness to a murder.   I loved how Hardy, Carter and Bev stepped up to protect a woman that was a complete stranger.  The strength and courage that Stephanie displayed as she was separated from her Amish community was amazing.   It was hard to see the challenges of kids who were not supported adequately in the foster care system.   Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

The Atlas of Untold Stories by Sara Brunsvold

Kroosreadsandreviews:   Go on a bookish girl's road trip with a mom and her two daughters as they navigate through their relationships!  This sounds like such a fun idea to do with girlfriends who love books.   My favorite characters were Chloe and Grant.  Chloe possessed this unimaginable joyous spirit despite those around her.  Grant also loved the women in his life and didn't try to change them but let them make their own discoveries.   Sori and Seymour were also pretty great.  Sori cheered on Chloe and kept her accountable.  Seymour was just a grumpy older fella with a big heart.   Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own. Book blurb:   Chloe Vance, dreamer of the family, needs to tell her pragmatic mom, Edie, that she has accepted a low-paying art instructor role at a Christian school in Prague. Her older sister, Lauren--the "responsible one"--is ...
