Summers at the Saint by Mary Kay Andrews

 This book has quite a lot of things going for it--romance, mystery, suspense, family drama ...   The family drama created a very tangled web and it wasn't until the end of the story that it was all unravelled.  In the beginning I was overwhelmed at the amount of characters, trying to remember who everyone was.  There were definitely characters that I was cheering on and others that were villains!!

Reverie by Drew Taylor

 I've never read a story like this before.  It was written as a story within a story.  This at times was a little confusing for me. I really enjoyed the main characters Esme and Noah.   Noah is super flirty and romantic!  Esme has been through the ringer of life but is going forward with such strength.   There were some loose ends that should be remedied in later series.   Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.

The 5-Minute Visual Guide to the Bible by Michael Wittmer

5 stars This is a fantastic book that gives an overview of the Bible.  I enjoyed that while I was reading in the minor prophets, I could turn to the section about the minor prophets and understand more about what was happening in Amos.  I also really enjoyed how the author put a Scripture index in the back of the book to help the reader find out more information quickly.  The pictures are also stunning  throughout the book.   I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.
