  Kroosreadsandreviews thoughts:    I would like to check in to Aspen Acres with its farm to table meals and cozy bed and breakfast.   Instead of the haven that Ryan and Rachel have intended their property to be, it has become a haven for illegal activities.  The reader is left to guess throughout the story who is involved and who is innocently caught in the crossfire.   This book was a great read.  It had the perfect amount of suspense and romance throughout.  I enjoyed that some of the characters made it a priority to have a relationship with God!   I received a complimentary copy of the arc and am posting my honest opinion.   Kroosreadsandreviews thoughts:    This is the conclusion to the Sons of Scandal trilogy and focuses on Max.   The half siblings of Jeremiah and Jude were featured on the first two books and it is highly recommended to read those first. Ivy was my favorite character in the book.  She is a teenage girl who was adopted as an infant and is well loved and  adapts well to the challenges thrown at her.  She stays with her aunt Sloane for the summer and they end up living at The Gables mansion with Sloane's enemy, Max.   Max does everything in the beginning to irritate Sloane and as the book unfolds the reader can begin to see the relationship possibilities change from frenemies to maybe more?   There are a lot of different storylines and characters interwoven throughout the book.  The biggest one was whether forgiveness was possible even despite serious offenses in the past.   Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for...

  Kroosreadsandreviews thoughts:    This book is so precious and I didn't want it to end!   I loved how August and Sophie both had best friends that provided encouragement but also set them straight when they needed it! Another fantastic part of the story was that August and Sophie came together as they are producing an audiobook.  This was such a fun part of the story that was so enjoyable. Some of the relationships in the book were strained, which at times was difficult to read, but unfortunately a real part of life.  The author handled these parts with such grace and honesty.   Portia was an amazing character and coming alongside of Sophie was so endearing.   The integration of the deaf community and ASL was extra meaningful to me as I am an aunt of nieces with cochlear implants.  It gave me a lot to think about as they journey throughout life with hearing challenges.   I loved this book and can't wait to share it ...

  Kroosreadsandreviews thoughts:   It was so good to be back in Gossamer Falls and be reunited with the Quinn family.  There are a lot of characters in this story and it is sometimes hard to remember the stories of other characters but the story was riveting. I want to be a part of the Quinn family.  They care so much about each other and will drop everything in a second to help each other out.   I was Team Gray in this story.  I felt like he got the brunt of the Quinn family even though he had a difficult past.  He worked so hard at protecting the community and those who lived within it.   I loved how Meredith took her dental clinic on the road to help those who needed it.   She wore her heart on her sleeve throughout the book and was quick to care for those around her.   Thanks to Revell and netgalley for the arc.  The opinions are my own. The relationship between the three sisters was so special!  Sisters don't always get along but will always be on your side.   It was interesting to me how the community responded to Tabitha returning to the Amish faith.  This was a different spin on the story, which I really enjoyed.   The idea of green pastures was intriguing and gave me a lot to think about.   The theme of second chances amidst addictions added to the story as well.   Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc.  The opinions are my own.   Kroosreadsandreviews thoughts:  Such a fun read!  This book is set in Texas and talks a lot about the local places especially Brookshire Brothers and Blue Bell ice cream.  Get ready to drool as well since there is lots of yummy food in Texas and the best part is the author includes 2 recipes at the end.   I love the faith and the humor that are displayed throughout the book!   I want to check in at Sunshine Inn and visit Coral Cove!   I love books set in beach towns, they are so relaxing to me. This book was filled with all of the things that I enjoy--romance, drama, family relationships, etc. Alana reminded me of my grandma.  Alana loved those around her deeply and was such an encouragement to those that were in her life.   I loved the juxtaposition between Cade and Everleigh.  He was kind of grumpy and rough around the edges and she was filled with sunshine.  Yet he was filled with so much compassion for others.   The family relationships added a little bit of drama to the story and made me yearn for restoration.   Another great story by this author!
